An Exceptional Effort
The exceptional effort that was exerted to translate the names of these oils, found on the walls of temples and on papyri, followed by defining these plants using their current images and then searching for them in their original habitats inside and outside Egypt, is a fantastic work. In some cases, we used to locate the plant, but the inhabitants of the region refused to disclose its secrets. However, as soon as they were told of the aim of the project, they hastened to transfer their expertise to us.
